I'll update this more later; I'm adding information and images right along the chronological order of the walkthrough (meaning, if I haven't made it to the point in the walkthrough where you get a certain item or weapon, then it won't be listed here until I do, and once I'm done with the game, every item and weapon will be here).

Weapons

Kokiri Sword: "This is a hidden treasure of the Kokiri, but you can borrow it for a while. Be sure to practice with it before you really fight." Your first sword! Swing and slash through your enemies into oblivion with the B button. Located in the Kokiri Forest, in the "Hole of 'L'."

Deku Shield: "Once equipped, you can defend with R. If set on fire, it will burn." Your basic, garden-variety wooden shield. Located at the Kokiri Forest Item Shop for 40 Rupees.

Fairy Slingdshot: "Use C to take it out and hold it. As you hold C, you can aim with the joystick. Release C to unleash a Deku Seed. If you want to shoot right away, when you first use C, hold down C a little longer to get a seed ready." Pretty self explanatory. You can only carry thirty Deku Seeds at a time, and you can buy them in most any store all across Hyrule. Located in the Great Deku Tree.

Items

Deku Stick: "A long branch gathered from the Great Deku Tree. You can use it as a weapon, but it will break." Not much of a weapon, but a great torch so keep some handy. Located at the Kokiri Forest Item Shop for 10 Rupees, and sometimes dropped by Deku Babas.

Deku Nut: "Set it to C and try throwing it! It will flash and stun the enemy!" Actually, I've never tried using these ^^() I'll have to try later and get back to you on how well they work. Sometimes Deku Babas will drop these.
